In 1956, Baldwin Sign Company built the Madonna & Child holiday display for the Bon Marche, now Bon Macy's. It is the oldest and largest lighted holiday decoration in Spokane. The Madonna consists of eight 6’x12’ panels. There are well over one hundred blue and white panels surrounding the Madonna. It takes six men to put up the display. The entire crew enjoys installing this display which brings holiday cheer to Spokane. We are proud to be a part of Spokane’s history!

Baldwin Sign Company refurbished the Hillyard Laundry sign for Tom Weaver, owner of Pages from the Past in Hillyard. The sign was originally built in the 1950s. The restoration included replacing all rusted portions of the sheet metal, updating electrical components, replacing portions of the neon and repainting the sign with historically accurate colors. The updated sign was part of the City of Spokane’s first “Façade Improvement Program” in the Hillyard National Historic District. We are very proud to have been a part of this revitalization!
